You are in for the scare of a lifetime at Shocktober this season!
Shocktober is a hauntingly memorable experience that will touch all five of your senses! From the sights and sounds of our REAL Haunted House and its inhabitants, to the smell of rotting flesh and the creepy cobwebs that you touch as you walk through the old mansion, to the scary good beer, wine, and killer pizza we have for sale onsite, your senses will be on high alert.
First things first, ALL MUST SIGN A WAIVER. You can do this beforehand HERE (please print, sign and bring to Shocktober) or sign onsite. After signing the waiver, we will stamp your hand and then you may proceed to the Ticket Office to exchange your ticket for a wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All who enter must have purchased or purchase a ticket at the Ticket Office. If you have pre-purchased a ticket, you will need to exchange the ticket for a wristband. The Ticket Office opens its windows at 7pm on Friday, & 6 pm on Saturdays & Sundays. You will not be able to go through the haunted house until after you have exchanged your ticket for a wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We have portable bathrooms in two locations onsite: right when you first arrive near the Ticket Office and between the Carlheim Manor and its basement, Carnival of Souls.
At Shocktober’s we will have several different food and drink options at Camp Carlheim. We will have beer from Old Ox Brewery, & Loudoun Brewing Company. We will also be serving wine from Tarara winery. We will have several different food options for Shocktober fans each night!
Expect to arrive and wait in line for our main attraction, Carlheim Manor. Before entering the house, you must wait in lines OUTSIDE. Please dress accordingly. How long of a wait? Your guess is as good as ours. If you don’t want a long wait or you are pressed for time, we recommend taking advantage of our RIP passes or coming on Sunday, which is typically a slower day.

Encounter new characters, including creepy campers and frightening camp counselors, as you unravel the dark and mysterious past of Carlheim Manor. The haunt also includes Carnival of Souls, the basement of Carlheim Manor, an attraction full of creepy clowns and carnival carnage. Our haunted attractions are not for the faint of heart, this annual event is PG-13 Scary Fun. Our two attractions features more than 100 cast and crew to create the ultimate haunted house experience.
